January 2026 Newsletter

Dear Friends of Hearts For Street Dogs,

Happy New Year!

Because of your compassion and generosity, street dogs living alongside their homeless companions are receiving the care, dignity, and love they so deeply deserve. What began in 2022 out of the back of my car has grown into a community-powered mission—one that feeds, clothes, and supports dogs who are often overlooked, yet fiercely loyal to the people they love.

Thanks to you, here’s what we’ve been able to do recently:

  • We distributed backpacks filled with jackets, harnesses and collars, pet first aid kits, waterproof blankets, food and water, treats, and toys.

  • We support the powerful bond between homeless individuals and their beloved dogs, showing love and compassion where it is needed most on the streets of our community.

Every donation, share, and word of encouragement helps us continue this work. These dogs are more than pets; they are family, protectors, and emotional lifelines for their owners.

How You Can Continue to Help:

Donate to help us feed and clothe more dogs. Share our mission on social media, and spread the word within your community.

We are endlessly grateful for your support and belief in our mission. Together, we are proving that kindness has no address, and every dog deserves our help.

With heartfelt thanks,

Monica Draves

A Fundraiser Fueled by Compassion

Our recent fundraiser was a beautiful reminder of what happens when a community comes together with open hearts. Every donation made a difference. Each one represents a dog kept warm, a meal served, and a powerful human-animal bond protected.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended, donated, and shared our mission. Together we are proving that every dog deserves care and dignity.

Volunteer Corner

We want to give a special thanks to a very hardworking volunteer, Catherine McFeely. Her tireless and unwavering support to our community is amazing. Her love of service and dedication to making a difference has made a great impact on us all.
